Who can use BabyLog
By using BabyLog, you agree to these terms and confirm that you can form a binding agreement and are authorised to provide the information you upload.
BabyLog is designed for parents, carers, and other adult caregivers managing a child's routine and care records.
- You must use accurate account details and keep them up to date.
- If you use BabyLog for a child or family, you are responsible for making sure you have authority to share that information.
Accounts and security
You need an account to use core BabyLog features. Authentication and session management are handled with third-party identity tooling, and you are responsible for keeping your login credentials and devices secure.
- Use your own account. Do not share passwords or rely on one shared family login.
- Each caregiver should use their own account so permissions, sync, and history remain accurate.
- Tell us promptly if you believe your account or a shared baby profile has been accessed without permission.
Your content and your responsibilities
You keep ownership of the information and content you upload to BabyLog. However, you give BabyLog a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, store, copy, sync, display, back up, and process that content as needed to operate and improve the service.
You are responsible for the content you add, including its accuracy, legality, and appropriateness.
- Double-check important logs, medication entries, temperature records, and imported data.
- Keep your own backup habits where appropriate, including using CSV export when you want an additional copy.
- Do not upload content you do not have permission to use or share.
Local-first behaviour and sync
BabyLog stores information locally on your device for speed and offline access, then synchronises it to the cloud when possible. Because of this design, some records may exist on a device before they finish syncing.
You understand that sync delays, offline periods, or conflict resolution can affect the timing and order in which records appear across devices.
- Recent edits may remain local until a connection is available.
- Conflicts may be resolved using the app's current sync rules, including last-write-wins behaviour in some cases.
- BabyLog may not always be available, uninterrupted, or error free.
Acceptable use
You must use BabyLog lawfully and respectfully. You may not misuse the product, other users' data, or the service infrastructure.
- Do not attempt to bypass authentication, permissions, rate limits, or security controls.
- Do not scrape, reverse engineer, interfere with, or overload the service.
- Do not upload malware, harmful code, or content designed to disrupt the app.
- Do not impersonate another person or access a baby profile without authorisation.
Third-party services and external tools
BabyLog relies on third-party providers for functions such as authentication, analytics, diagnostics, and abuse prevention. Those providers operate under their own terms and privacy commitments.
BabyLog also offers workflows that help you export or copy summaries of your data. If you paste that content into ChatGPT or another external AI assistant, that disclosure happens under your direction and the third party's own terms apply.
Medical and emergency limitations
BabyLog is a logging and coordination tool only. It is not a medical device, does not provide clinical advice, and must not be relied on as emergency support.
WHO growth charts, reports, reminders, and AI-friendly summaries are informational tools based on the data available in the app. They are not diagnosis, treatment, or professional advice.
Fees, feature changes, and suspension
Some BabyLog features may be free today, and some may become paid, limited, or plan-gated over time. If we introduce charges for a feature you do not already pay for, we will provide notice before billing begins.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service at any time. We may also suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have breached these terms, created risk for others, or misused the service.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BabyLog is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not promise that the service will always be uninterrupted, complete, or perfectly accurate.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BabyLog is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for losses arising from data entry errors, sync timing, caregiver misuse, third-party services, or medical decisions made using app content.
