How much does Huckleberry cost in Australia? Free, Plus and Premium in AUD (2026)

The Huckleberry app costs nothing for everyday tracking. In Australia, Huckleberry Plus is A$16.99 a month or A$95.99 a year, and Huckleberry Premium is A$20.99 a month or A$169.99 a year (checked September 2026). Every new account gets a 14-day Premium trial with no card, and it doesn't turn into a paid plan.

Why the App Store shows more prices than that

Open Huckleberry's page in the Australian App Store and the in-app purchase list has ten items, some with the same name at different prices. Apple's list doesn't say which items are monthly or yearly, or which are current.

• Sleep Improvement Plan: A$79.99

The four prices in the list at the top are the ones that match Huckleberry's website. The others (Plus at A$19.99 and A$99.99, Premium at A$199.99) may be older price points or offers. Check the amount on Apple's purchase sheet before you confirm.

On Android, Google Play's Australian listing gives in-app items a range of A$16.99 to A$189.99. A$189.99 isn't on the App Store list, so check the amount on Google's purchase sheet too.

Is Huckleberry free? What you keep after the trial

Yes. Huckleberry's free tier has no time limit. Its help centre says the free features carry on after the trial, and your logged data stays if you cancel a paid plan. On the free tier you keep:

• One-touch tracking for sleep, nappy changes, feeds, pumping, growth, potty training, activities and medicine
• A breastfeeding timer that tracks both sides
• Sleep summaries and history, with average sleep totals
• Profiles for more than one child
• Reminders for medication, feeds and more
• Sync across caregivers' phones

The free tier doesn't include SweetSpot, Schedule Creator, Insights, Enhanced Reports, AI logging, Berry or sleep plans.

What do Plus and Premium add?

Plus is the sleep-timing tier. It adds SweetSpot, Huckleberry's nap and bedtime prediction, plus Schedule Creator for an age-appropriate sleep schedule. It also includes Insights (tips and mini-plans based on your logs), Enhanced Reports on trends, and AI logging by text, voice or photo.

Premium adds two things on top of Plus. Berry is an AI chat for parenting questions, available at any hour. Custom sleep plans are built from a questionnaire about your child's sleep and your family's goals, and you can ask for an updated plan every 30 days.

If nap timing is the hard part of your day, Plus is the tier that covers it. Premium earns its extra A$74 a year only if you'd use Berry or a custom sleep plan.

Under 2 months old? Some of Plus hasn't started yet

Huckleberry's pricing page marks SweetSpot, Schedule Creator and Enhanced Reports for babies 2 months and older. Insights runs from birth, and the page sets no age for AI logging or Berry.

The trial starts when you create your account and can't be delayed. Sign up in your baby's first month, and the trial ends before SweetSpot starts at 2 months.

If SweetSpot is the reason you'd pay, you can stay on Free until 2 months and decide then. Huckleberry's help centre says SweetSpot switches on as soon as you subscribe, once your child is over 2 months.

What Huckleberry costs per year and per month in AUD

Paying yearly roughly halves the cost of Plus and cuts about a third off Premium.

The table works from the prices on Huckleberry's pricing page and the Australian App Store listing, checked 23 September 2026.

Paid monthly means 12 payments of A$16.99 for Plus or A$20.99 for Premium. Paid yearly, that works out to about A$8.00 a month for Plus and A$14.17 a month for Premium.

Premium costs A$4 a month more than Plus if you pay monthly, or A$74 a year more if you pay yearly.

The monthly plan can be cancelled at any time, so the shortest commitment is one month. Yearly Plus costs less than six months of monthly Plus, and yearly Premium costs less than nine months of monthly Premium. If you'd stop within five months (Plus) or eight months (Premium), paying monthly works out cheaper.

Does the Huckleberry trial need a card, and when does it charge?

The trial doesn't need a card, and it never charges you. Huckleberry's help centre says it collects no payment details for the trial, and you aren't subscribed when it ends. After 14 days the account drops back to the free tier.

A few trial details catch people out:

• It starts when you create your account in the app. It can't be delayed or extended.
• Signing up while pregnant starts it straight away. Huckleberry says a baby born before that trial finishes still gets a fresh 14-day newborn trial.
• It doesn't include custom sleep plans. Those need a paid Premium membership. Berry and the Plus features are included.
• Subscribing during the trial ends it early and moves you straight onto the paid plan.

Once you do pay, the plan renews on its own. Huckleberry says it sends a heads-up before a subscription period ends.

How to cancel or change a Huckleberry subscription

Cancel through whoever took your payment. Deleting the app doesn't cancel anything.

On iPhone: open Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, tap Huckleberry, then tap Cancel Subscription. If there's no Cancel button, the subscription has already been cancelled.

On Android: open Google Play, go to Subscriptions, choose Huckleberry, tap Cancel subscription and follow the steps.

In the app: tap the gear icon on the home screen, scroll to Huckleberry Memberships and tap Cancel subscription. Huckleberry also says to cancel at least 24 hours before your next billing date.

Bought on Huckleberry's website? The same Huckleberry Memberships screen shows how you subscribed, and Huckleberry's support team handles refunds for website purchases.

After you cancel, the plan stays active until its renewal date, then drops to Free. Cancelling doesn't automatically refund the rest of the period. For App Store and Google Play purchases, refund requests go to Apple or Google, not to Huckleberry.

Changing tiers works differently by store:

• App Store: an upgrade from Plus to Premium starts straight away, and Apple refunds the unused Plus time. A downgrade waits until the current term ends.
• Huckleberry website: an upgrade charges the difference and keeps the same start and end dates.
• Yearly to monthly: once you switch, you can't go back to the original yearly end date. A new yearly plan starts a new 12-month term.

If you mainly need logging and history

If you mostly log feeds, sleeps and nappies, Huckleberry's free tier may be all you need, reminders included. You pay Huckleberry for SweetSpot, sleep plans and Berry.
